Summary:
Poirot returns to London where he meets famous actress Jane Wilkinson. SMitten he agrees to visit her estranged husband, Lord Edgware, to urge him to reconsider her request for a divorce. Edgware insists that he has already agreed to Jane's request. Yet, within twenty-four hours, he is found murdered.
