Ten-year survival and growth of planted conifers in a group selection silvicultural system : Mount Tom adaptive management trial

Summary: The Mount Tom adaptive management trial was initiated in 1999 to assess whether group selection silvicultural systems, conducted at an operational scale, could maintain attributes of mountain caribou winter habitat in high-elevation Engelmann spruce-subalpine fir forests of east-central British Columbia. This study is a continuation of previous findings from a more tightly controlled silvicultural system research study in the Quesnel Highland.
