Marius Barbeau's photographic collection : the Nass River / edited by Linda Riley.
"This volume presents information on the anthropological photographs taken between 1877 and 1961 during periods of fieldwork among the Interior Salish of British Columbia by permanent and contract staff of the organization known today as the Canadian Museum of Civilization. A major portion of this collection was taken between 1911 and 1922 by James A. Teit while employed by the Geological Survey of Canada, the ancestor of the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Each entry lists the negative number, picture title, photographer, date and a brief description of the image and condition of the negative."-- from publisher.
